QUETTA - Balochistan Chief Minister (CM), Jam Kamal Khan, has said that that Pak-Army, district administration, PDMA and other relief organisations were busy in relief operations in district Harnai of Balochistan province, according to a Minister’s office statement issued here on Saturday. Khan said in order to monitor relief activities, divisional and sub-committee had been formed at divisional and district level, adding that divisional committee would be headed by Commissioner, Sibi division while district committee would be chaired by Deputy Commissioner, Harnai with the task of ensuring relief and rehabilitation activities in the earthquake affected areas of district Harnai. He said that sub-committee would distribute relief gears among the affectees besides carrying out assessments of damages caused to the government’s infrastructures and homes. He directed the concerned authorities to extend pecuniary assistance to the heirs of deceased and injured. Directing the concerned authorities to expedite relief activities in the affected areas of district Harnai, he said that affectees of earthquake would be compensated. MINISTER, SENATORS CALL ON CM JAM Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind, parliamentary leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Minister for Colleges, Higher, Technical and Secondary Education, called on Chief Minister (CM) Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan at Chief Minister’s House on Saturday. According to a statement issued by Chief Minister’s office, during the meeting ongoing political situation of the province came under discussion. Provincial Minister, Umer Khan Jamali, was also present. Separately, ministers of allied parties, senators and members of Balochistan Provincial Assembly also had a meeting with Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan. During the meeting, political situation of the province was discussed.
